Another Catch Up...

Where does the time go?!?
In my last post I was talking about things that are happening now or that have happened. Normally that would be ok, but... not when NOW is 7 months later! So we get to play catch up AGAIN!
To start out, Tyson finished two semesters at BYU-I this past winter and spring. Since he hasn't and wouldn't I am going to go ahead and brag for him for a second!
Spring Semester Final Grades:
7 A's, 1 B
GPA 3.8
21 credits and did amazing!
So happy for him that he did such a great job, he worked hard and that hard work definitely paid off! :)
Speaking of spring and knowing spring is baby time, we welcomed Miss Fancy into our herd family!
This was just hours after being born
but now she looks like this...
She is a Bay Roan
Taylee loves her horse!
We are waiting to hear back from AQHA to see what name they approve for her registered name. We hope it ends up being Dun Been Frosted! She is by my Aunt Tammy's stud Tiger Dun It.  We are pretty happy with this cute little girl! We can't wait for baby (horsey) #2 next spring!:)
We added one horse to the herd and sold another..
I had a hard time even putting Jazzy up for sale, but I had an even harder time watching her just stand out in the corral.  She has so many more years left in her and we were lucky to have such a fun family find her.  This is Rayley and she fell in love with Jazzy, just like I did! What a blessing it was to find such a loving family that Jazz could go be apart of.  They still keep in touch and give me updates on all her rodeos and barrel races. Ray and Jazz won their first buckle just 3 weeks after they bought her! Knowing Jazz is making another little girls dreams come true makes it all worth it in the end!
We also were so lucky to spend another week with Bishop McMullin and his family at DL&L in July.  What a blessing that was, what an amazing group of people.
Well back to schooling, after Ty finished up his finals we shuffled horses around, packed up and headed to Utah to visit with family for a few weeks.  Middle of August came and we headed to California! We made it a two day trip to let Taylee rest and get out of her car seat.
She was such a good girl the entire trip here! We finally pulled into South Valley Farms here in Wasco where we live ON the processing plant.  Makes for a noisy day and night, 24-6! But hey our little house here is great so we can't complain there. We have been here for just over a month now and time is flying by.  We were called as the Valiant 11-12 year old Primary teachers, we team teach them so one can teach while the other entertains Taylee.  It is Pistachio harvest right now on top of the Almond harvest. Just last week Tyson had to work the graveyard shift (all week)... yeah nothing good to say about that other than the 12 hour shifts bring in good money. Taylee and I really hope he doesn't have to go back to them ever again!:) We don't like them in case you couldn't tell! (haha) Tyson didn't seem to mind since he got to work when it wasn't so hot. We are hoping once harvest slows down in October we'll be able to go play at the beach! All in all we really enjoy it here so far. We have a great ward and a lot of amazing families here on the farm that we are having fun with.
Now for Taylee's catch up...
She will be 8 months old tomorrow, it seems like just yesterday I was still counting down the days till her due date.  She loves her horses, her dog Dalley, yogurt snacks, green beans, squash, pears, babbling away and being crazy!  She can sit and stand by herself, isn't to thrilled about crawling yet but.. I am just fine with that! She is going to be into EVERYTHING once she figures that out! Tyson on the other hand is encouraging her almost everyday.:/  Ready or not... Here she comes!:)
She also has one tooth with the another trying to poke its way through. We love our teething baby!:)  I haven't taken her 8 month pictures yet but here is some of the last few months pictures:
7 months
6 months
5 months
Just a few recent ones of her..

She is our little princess who we love so much! What a blessing she is!
Hopefully that was a good catch up, sorry if I jumped around a lot.  Hopefully next post won't be another 7 months, I will try even harder this time to do better.
Till Next Time...

A looong time coming!

Well... Here is to trying to remember I created this blog!  A lot has happened since June.  Our family of two is now a family of three, Miss Taylee Jo is one of our greatest blessings!  Born on the 19th of January at 8:06 pm she was 6 lbs 11 oz and 19 inches long! She is beautiful and we love her so much!
Right now we are in Idaho Falls living with Tyson's grandma Edie while Tyson goes to school in Rexburg at BYUI.  Taylee and I hang out all day everyday while Tyson goes to school M, T, F until 9-2 and W, TH until 8-5.  Lets just say we are both very happy to see him come through the door!  We will be here until July and then off to California we go, Bakersfield to be exact.  Our last internship was in Kennewick, Washington where Tyson worked on the farm.  He got to drive monstrous tractors and learn lots about mainly potatoes, sweet corn and field corn.  It was a very good learning experience for not just Tyson but me as well.
Our Ride!
Arriving in Kennewick Washington
One of the BIG tractors!
While we were there we had a big hurdle we had to get over.. which we were able to do with a lot of prayers and faith.  I had kidney stone problems starting when I was 24 weeks pregnant with Taylee. After spending a few nights in the hospital we thought we had them under control until a month later (November) when we found ourselves back at the hospital.  What started to be stones in just my right kidney, I now have them in both kidneys.  Our second time to the hospital we spent a week there (Poor Dalley thought we had abandoned her!) and I had to go into surgery for a stent placement to help pass the stones in my left side. The surgery is very risky for pregnant women since the ureters and kidneys are so close to the uterus.  There was a possibility I could have gone into pre term labor while in the surgery or even after depending on how my body reacted.  After a few quick prayers and a much needed blessing, Tyson and I knew that everything would be ok and went ahead with the surgery.  Taylee handled everything like a champ and stayed strong through all the stress and medications.  We know that all three of us were being watched over and protected.  What a testimony builder this experience was for us, the power of prayer is so real and powerful! We are extremely blessed and know that we are loved by our Heavenly Father.
So the week after the surgery we headed home to Ogden so that Tyson could work in the office in Salt Lake.  It was nice to get home after such an ordeal! Especially since we decided to leave at 6 o'clock at night and had a 9 1/2 hour drive ahead of us plus the time it would take for my prego bladder/kidney stone bathroom breaks. We pulled in the drive way at 4 in the morning! Not to shabby, but wow what a looong night! Our bed was calling our names!!
Then on the 13th of December Tyson decided he wanted to get his shoulder fixed, so that he did! He was in a sling for 4 weeks and is now doing physical therapy in hopes of having his shoulder back to "normal" by June/July time.  He is not liking the no riding, roping, shooting, shoeing, working out, etc deal though.  He is just short of going crazy! I think he will be more than ready to do all of those things here in a few months time.
Well that was a quick catch up but in the last 8 months a lot has happened that I didn't go into details like; buying our first horse together, buying our 1st vehicle together, Spending a week with Bishop McMullin and his family as well as Bishop Burton and his family on the ranch, Tyson graduating with his Associates of Science, our 1st wedding anniversary, Jessie and Brayden's wedding, our niece Kendyl's 1st Birthday, Going to the Pendleton Round Up Rodeo in Oregon, our 2nd Christmas together, and I am sure much much more that has slipped my mind at the moment.  All in all we are a very happy family and are loving every minute of this crazy life!

Looks like SO much Fun!!

Here it goes... Figured we would try this blogging stuff out!! As I read others blogs I am so impressed with the creativity and the fun way of expressing the things that are happening in their lives.  So I only hope that I can have as much fun with this as it looks like others are!  Wish us luck!! :)
